Customised map coasters and placemats

We specialize in the upcycling of pre-loved maps and, as such, most maps have minor imperfections. One of our biggest fans calls the individual random marks unique to each map a 'patina', i.e. surface texture or colour gained through the action of time.
No doubt about it, these sets are completely unique and handcrafted with patience and care. Prices start from $50 for a set of four coasters. Please enquire for larger quantities.
Sizes
Placemats measure 21 x 29cm and coasters 9.3 x 11.3cm i.e. rectangular with rounded edges. Bigger sizes are available, but the boards need to be cut by the guys at my local MenzShed, so they take longer to make. I can mock ideas up for you totally free of cost and no obligation to buy.
Below are some examples of past custom-made commissions. We really love that they are so individual and so special to the person that they are made for. Custom-made map coaster/placemat commissions for Christmas gifts requests need to be in by 5th December and already-made set requests by 15th December.
